サヤーム博物館 は、タイ王国バンコクの国立歴史博物館。体験型コンセプトを掲げたタイ国民史の展示を行っている。正式名は「サヤーム博物館 - 国立発見博物館」である。

Museum Siam is a history museum set in the former Ministry of Commerce building, a colonial-era structure near the Grand Palace. Rather than static displays of artifacts, it uses interactive, multimedia exhibits to walk visitors through where Thai identity comes from — early settlement, contact with neighboring cultures, and how "Thai-ness" was shaped over time. It's a good option for travellers who want context on Thai history and culture in a format that's more engaging than a typical collection-based museum, and it works well for families since many exhibits are hands-on.
Getting there
The museum sits on Sanam Chai Road in Rattanakosin, the old royal district. From central Bangkok (Sukhumvit or Silom), a taxi generally takes 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. The nearest MRT station is Sanam Chai, a short walk away, which is usually the most reliable option during rush hour. River ferries to Tha Tien pier are another route if you're coming from the Chao Phraya riverside.

Most visitors spend around two to three hours moving through the exhibit floors.
When to go
Mornings tend to be quieter, before tour groups visiting the nearby Grand Palace spill over. Weekends and Thai school holidays can bring larger crowds, including school groups. As with most of Rattanakosin, the area gets hot and humid at midday, so an air-conditioned museum visit works well timed around the heat of the day.
