National Archaeological Museum
The National Archaeological Museum of Florence occupies the Palazzo della Crocetta on Piazza Santissima Annunziata and holds a broad collection of Egyptian, Etruscan, Greek, and Roman artifacts. Its Etruscan bronzes and grave goods, along with its Egyptian collection, are especially well known, showing that Florence has long been a center for collecting and studying ancient civilizations as well as Renaissance art.
