2018 North Korea–United States Singapore Summit

This is the site of the Capella Hotel, where North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump held their first-ever summit on June 12, 2018. The two sides signed a joint statement addressing the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, the establishment of new US-North Korea relations, building a peace regime, and the repatriation of remains of soldiers killed in the Korean War.

Marina Bay

Marina Bay is a bay in the heart of Singapore, bordered by the Downtown Core, Marina East, Marina South, and Straits View planning areas. Built on reclaimed land, this roughly 360-hectare extension of the existing central business district effectively functions as Singapore's new downtown.

Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel in the Downtown Core that opened in April 2008. It has 28 air-conditioned capsules, each holding up to 28 passengers, along with a three-story terminal building, and draws travelers seeking sweeping views of Marina Bay and the city skyline from high above.
