The Pharos of Alexandria

The Pharos was a lighthouse constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty in Alexandria, Egypt. Standing over 100 meters tall, it was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. While the original structure no longer stands, travelers visit the site to explore the historical location and the archaeological remains associated with this ancient maritime landmark.

The site is located on the coast of Alexandria. From the city centre, you can reach the area via taxi or local transport. The journey typically takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
