Apia Samoa Temple
Overview
The Apia Samoa Temple is a house of worship for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, situated in the Pesega area near Apia. Constructed from granite with a single spire, it is the first temple built in Samoa. Travellers visit primarily to observe its architecture and walk through the surrounding landscaped grounds.
Getting There
Located roughly 2 to 3 kilometres west of central Apia, the site is reachable by taxi or local bus in about 5 to 10 minutes. It also sits along the corridor heading toward Faleolo International Airport (APW).
Time to Allow
Plan to spend approximately 30 to 45 minutes to view the building exterior and walk the surrounding gardens.
When to Visit
Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit to avoid intense tropical heat. The grounds are typically uncrowded and quiet on standard weekdays, though local traffic and attendance increase during weekend services.
