Tell el-Kheleifeh

Tell el-Kheleifeh is an archaeological site located near Aqaba at the entrance to the Gulf of Aqaba. Visitors go here to explore ancient ruins that some historians associate with a port from the era of King Solomon. The site consists of excavated structures and remnants that provide insight into the region's historical trade and maritime activity.

The site is located on the outskirts of Aqaba. From the city centre, it is most practical to travel by taxi or rental car. The drive typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

When to Visit
