This fortress and caravanserai served as a strategic military site and a stop for pilgrims traveling to Mecca and Medina. Built during the Mamluk and Ottoman eras, the current structure dates back to the 16th century. Visitors go here can examine the military architecture and the historical layers of the site, which remained strategically significant through World War I.
