Oguzhan Palace
Overview
Oguzhan Palace is the official presidential headquarters in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Standing on Independence Square, the structure features a white marble facade and a golden dome. While the interior is closed to visitors, travellers visit to see the grand exterior architecture from the public square.

Located in central Ashgabat, the site is accessible from the city centre in roughly 5 to 10 minutes by taxi or on foot from surrounding downtown areas.

Because access is limited to outdoor viewing, plan to spend about 15 to 30 minutes observing the building and the square.
When to Go
Spring and autumn offer mild conditions for walking outdoors. Visit during the early morning or late afternoon to avoid high daytime temperatures. The surrounding plaza rarely gets crowded. Note that security around government facilities is strict, and photography regulations are often enforced.
