The Krishna Mandir is a 17th-century Hindu temple built in the Shikhara style by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla. Located within a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is a significant example of stone architecture in the region. Visitors go here to observe the intricate stone carvings and the temple's structural design, which was restored in 2018 following damage from the 2015 earthquake.

Getting There

The temple is located in the heart of Patan. From the city center, it is accessible via short walks or local transport. Since it is situated within a pedestrian-friendly heritage zone, most visitors arrive on foot within 10 to 20 minutes depending on their starting point.

Visit Duration

Allow approximately 30 to 60 minutes to walk around the exterior and examine the stone reliefs. The experience is focused on the architecture and the surrounding square.

When to Visit
