Tarxien Temples
Located in Birkirkara, these ruins are among the oldest stone temples in the Mediterranean, dating back to approximately 3250 BC. Visitors go here to see the megalithic structures and artifacts that provide evidence of early prehistoric civilization on the island.
Getting There
The site is accessible from the center of Valletta via local bus routes or taxi. The journey typically takes between 20 and 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
