South Tower

The South Tower is a 38-story office building located in central Brussels. As the tallest building in Belgium, it is visited primarily by those wanting to view the city skyline from a high vantage point.

Getting There

The tower is situated in the city center. Depending on your starting point, it is accessible via a short taxi ride or public transport. From the central core of Brussels, it typically takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to reach.

Time Requirement

Allow roughly 1 to 2 hours for a visit. This provides enough time to ascend the building and observe the surrounding urban landscape.

When to Visit

Visiting during the late afternoon allows you to see the city in daylight and transition into the evening lights. Like many high-altitude landmarks, it can become crowded during peak tourist seasons or weekends.

Nearby Attractions

Because of its central location, you can combine a visit here with other nearby sites. Within walking distance, you will find:

  • Halle Gate Museum (0.8km)
  • Church of Our Lady of the Chapel (1km)
  • Jewish Museum of Belgium (1.1km)
  • Church of Our Lady of Victories at the Sablon (1.3km)
