Tok-i-Telpak Furushon

Tok-i-Telpak Furushon is a traditional trading dome located in the old town of Bukhara. Built during the Shaybanid dynasty in the 16th century, it served as a marketplace for hat sellers. Visitors go here to see the historic architecture of the bazaar and observe local commerce within the original vaulted structures of the city.

Getting There

The bazaar is located within the historic center of Bukhara. Most travelers reach it on foot from the main tourist hubs. Depending on your starting point in the city center, the walk typically takes between 10 and 20 minutes.

Duration of Visit

Allow approximately 30 to 60 time to walk through the dome and browse the current vendors. Because of its compact size, it is a relatively quick stop compared to the larger complexes in the city.

When to Visit

The area is most active during the day when vendors are present. It can get crowded during peak tourist seasons and mid-day hours. To avoid the heaviest crowds, visiting in the early morning is recommended.
