A mausoleum just outside Bukhara's old town, built in the 10th century as a resting place for rulers of the Samanid dynasty. It's said to hold the tombs of three people, including Nasr II.

This massive fortress in Bukhara has stood since around the 5th century AD. It began taking its present form under the Shaybanid dynasty in the 16th century, functioning not just as a military stronghold but as a small city where people actually lived.

An Islamic school in Bukhara, built in 1417 and considered the oldest madrasa in Central Asia. It took its current form after major renovations in the late 16th century.

Tucked in an alley near Lyab-i Hauz in Bukhara, this was once the gateway to a madrasa that no longer exists. As its name suggests, it is marked by four minarets and is preserved as part of Bukhara's historic district.

A structure near the Samanid Mausoleum in Bukhara, built during the Timurid era. It features a conical Khorezm-style dome, rare for Bukhara, and houses a well linked to the legend of the Prophet Job.
