The district contains the city centre, making central locations reachable on foot for visitors already staying downtown. For those arriving from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in the south, the drive by taxi or public minibus takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes along the main coastal road.

Plan to spend two to four hours to walk through the primary commercial areas, browse local stalls, and see the central urban layout. If you are using the area as a base for day excursions, you will likely pass through over multiple days.
