Dry season: December to May

The most reliable stretch for Mactan beach time and day trips to Bohol or Moalboal. December to February is warm with lower humidity and calmer seas, good for diving. March to May turns hotter and drier, with April and May the most intense — strong sun, little rain, warm nights. This is also Cebu's busiest period for both foreign and domestic visitors.

Wet and typhoon season: June to November

Rain becomes frequent from June, with rising humidity and afternoon downpours. July through October carries the highest typhoon risk for central Visayas; storms can disrupt inter-island ferries and flights with little notice.
