This museum holds a collection of sandstone and terracotta sculpture from the Cham civilisation, which ruled central Vietnam for centuries before the region became part of Vietnam. The pieces on display, including altars, deities and carved figures, come from Cham temple sites across the region such as My Son. Getting there
The museum sits in Hải Châu District near the Han River, close to the city centre. From most central Da Nang hotels it's a short taxi or ride-hail trip, typically well under 15 minutes depending on traffic. It's also walkable from riverside areas near Dragon Bridge if you don't mind a longer stroll.

Mornings tend to be quieter and cooler for walking between exhibits, since parts of the museum involve open-air or semi-outdoor gallery space. It is not typically known as a crowded site, but tour groups can pass through around midday.
