Thuận Phước Bridge
Thuận Phước Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the mouth of the Han River, where the river meets the sea in Da Nang. It's the point where the river opens into Da Nang Bay, so the appeal is mainly the view: open water on one side, the city skyline and Han River bridges on the other. It's more of a scenic drive-by and photo stop than a destination with facilities to explore on foot.
Getting there
From central Da Nang, it's a short taxi, Grab, or motorbike ride of roughly 15-20 minutes, depending on where you start. It's often combined with a ride along the riverside road or a loop out toward Son Tra Peninsula, since the bridge sits at the base of that route.
How long to spend
Most visitors stop for 15-30 minutes to take photos and look at the view. There isn't much to do at the bridge itself beyond walking partway across or pulling over at a viewpoint, so it doesn't require a long visit unless you're stopping for a sunset or evening photo session.
When to go
Evening is popular, as the bridge lights up after dark and the skyline views are best with the city lit up. Traffic can be heavy at rush hour, so a midday or early-afternoon visit tends to be quieter. Wind off the bay can be strong, which is worth keeping in mind if you're on a motorbike or stopping to walk on the bridge.

- Han River Bridge (2.2km) — Da Nang's well-known swing bridge, worth seeing for comparison or continuing a riverside route.
- Da Nang Cathedral (2.8km) and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Đà Nẵng (2.8km) — both within a short ride, good stops on the way back into the city center.
