Laxminarayan Temple

This Hindu temple in Delhi is dedicated to Vishnu and the goddess Lakshmi. Visitors go here to observe traditional religious architecture and worship. In addition to the main sanctuary, the grounds contain smaller shrines dedicated to Shiva, Ganesha, and other deities.

The temple is located in the central part of New Delhi. From the city centre, it is accessible via auto-rickshaw or taxi. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours to walk through the temple complex and visit the various shrines on the grounds.

When to Visit

The site gets crowded during religious festivals and on weekends. To avoid the largest crowds, visit during weekday mornings. The most comfortable seasons for visiting are from October to March, as summer temperatures in Delhi can be extreme.
