Located west of the New Delhi railway station, this neighborhood is one of the city's oldest commercial districts. It has functioned as a market since the Mughal era and is primarily used by travelers for shopping and experiencing a dense, traditional market atmosphere on foot.
Getting There
The area is centrally located and easily accessible via the Delhi Metro or by auto-rickshaw from the city center. Depending on the starting point and traffic conditions, the journey typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Visitors should allow 2 to 4 hours to walk through the narrow lanes and browse the various shops. The time spent depends on whether the goal is a quick walk-through or active shopping.
