The Azat River is a natural waterway that originates in the Gegham mountains and flows through the Garni region before joining the Aras River. Travelers visit this area to observe the river's course and the surrounding landscapes, including the Azat Reservoir.

The river is located outside the city center of Dvin. Access is typically via taxi or rental car from Yerevan, as the river spans a wide geographical area.
