What It Is
St. Mary's Basilica is a Roman Catholic church in Gdańsk. Construction began in 1379, making it one of the largest brick churches in the world. Visitors go to see its grand scale, Brick Gothic architecture, and historic interior features such as its 15th-century astronomical clock.
Getting There
The building is located directly in the city center. From surrounding areas in the old town, it takes only 1 to 3 minutes to walk there. From the main railway station, Gdańsk Główny, walking takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
Time to Spend
