Kapitan Keling Mosque
Located at the junction of Buckingham Street and Pitt Street in George Town, this mosque was established in the 19th century the first permanent Islamic institution in the area. It was built by Indian Muslim traders and served as the center for the Chulia community. Visitors go here to see the architecture and learn about the multicultural history of the UNESCO World Heritage zone.
