Temple of Literature

Located in the Dong Da district of Hanoi, this site is a Confucian temple and the location of Vietnam's first national university. Travelers visit to see traditional Vietnamese architecture and the stone stelae that record the names of scholars who passed royal examinations in previous centuries.

The site is centrally located within Hanoi. From the Old Quarter or the city center, it is accessible via a short taxi or ride-share trip, typically taking 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
