Vytautas the Great Bridge
This bridge spans the Nemunas River in Kaunas, serving as a primary link between the Old Town and the Aleksotas district. Completed in 1930 and designed by engineers from Copenhagen, the 256-meter structure is a functional landmark used by both vehicles and pedestrians to cross the river.
Getting There
The bridge is located at the edge of the city centre. From the central pedestrian areas of the Old Town, it is accessible via a short walk of approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

Since it is a transit point and a viewing spot, most visitors spend between 15 and 30 minutes crossing the bridge and observing the river and city skyline.
