Aquaria KLCC
About Aquaria KLCC
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, this aquarium allows visitors to observe a diverse range of marine species. It is designed as a walk-through experience where guests can see fish, sharks, and rays through large viewing panels and tunnels, providing a way to encounter aquatic life without leaving the city center.
Getting There
The attraction is situated within the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) area. Since it is centrally located, it is accessible via the LRT (Light Rail Transit) Kelana Jaya line to the KLCC station. From the station, it is a short walk through the connected underground pedestrian tunnels or street level, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes.
Visit Duration
Most visitors spend between 2 and 3 hours completing the circuit. This allows enough time to move through the different themed zones and observe the animals at a steady pace.
When to Visit
The facility is indoors and climate-controlled, making it a viable option regardless of the weather or season. It often gets crowded during weekends, public holidays, and school vacation periods. To avoid the largest crowds, visiting on a weekday morning is generally more efficient.
