Sataplia Karst Caves

Located within a nature reserve near Kutaisi, these limestone caves contain formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors go here to observe the geological structures and view fossilized dinosaur footprints located near the entrance of the site.

The reserve is situated outside the city center of Kutaisi. Travelers typically reach the site via taxi or private vehicle. The drive from the center generally takes around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.
