• Buses: Extensive coverage across the metropolitan area. These are best for reaching residential neighborhoods or specific attractions not served by rail.
• Taxis and Ride-hailing: Useful for late-night travel or when carrying heavy luggage between the station and accommodation.

For most visitors, contactless payment (bank cards or mobile wallets) is the most efficient method for buses and trains. For those staying longer, a Railcard may offer discounts on national rail journeys, but it does not suit short-term tourists who only travel within the city center.
