Cheng Hoon Teng Temple
This is a Chinese temple in Malacca that integrates the teachings of Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism. It is the oldest surviving temple of its kind in Malaysia. Visitors go here to observe the traditional architectural style and the coexistence of three different religious philosophies within a single complex.
Getting There
The temple is located on Jonker Street in the heart of downtown Malacca. Because it is situated within the central historic district, it is accessible by foot from most city center hotels and main tourist hubs. Depending on your starting point in the center, the walk typically takes between 5 and 15 minutes.

Allow approximately 45 to 90 minutes to walk through the grounds and observe the altars and courtyard layouts.
