What It Is

Opened in 1999, Montréal, arts interculturels (MAI) is a multidisciplinary space presenting contemporary art, dance, music, and theater. Rather than housing a permanent historical collection, it supports cross-cultural exchange through rotating gallery exhibitions and live stage productions.

Getting There

Located near the downtown core, it is roughly a 10 to 15-minute walk from central Montreal, or about 10 minutes via public transit on the Green metro line.

Time to Allow

Allow 45 to 60 minutes to view the visual art gallery. For ticketed dance, music, or theater performances, plan for 2 hours.
