Located on the outskirts of Namur, this fortification was constructed between 1888 and 1892 as part of the defensive ring surrounding the city. It is historically significant for being built entirely of concrete, a departure from the masonry common in that era. Visitors go here to see the structural remains and the visible damage caused by artillery and combat during World War I.
