This older district sits roughly 1.5-2km inland from the beach. It suits travelers arriving or departing by train on the Reunification Express, or anyone who prefers daily city life - the market, local eateries, Long Son Pagoda - over a beach-strip base. Reaching the beach means a short taxi ride or a 20-25 minute walk.

There is no metro; walking covers the beachfront strip, and taxis or ride-hailing apps handle the rest, including transfers to Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), about 30-40km south.
