Po Nagar

Po Nagar is a cluster of Cham temple towers built on a hill at the mouth of the Cai River, north of downtown Nha Trang. Believed to predate the late 8th century, it was dedicated to the national goddess Yan Po Nagar, who was later identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Hariti and is known in Vietnam as Thien Y Thanh Mau.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Nha Trang

The Diocese of Nha Trang is a Roman Catholic diocese covering Vietnam's Ninh Thuận and Khánh Hòa provinces, a suffragan see of the Archdiocese of Huế. Established in its current form on November 24, 1960, it serves as the central body overseeing pastoral care and administration for local Catholics.

Christ the King Cathedral

This cathedral is known for its reddish-gray granite façade and French Gothic spires, and serves as the seat of the Nha Trang Catholic Diocese. Set on a hill, it offers stained-glass-lit interiors along with sweeping views of the surrounding city.

Long Sơn Pagoda

Long Sơn Pagoda is Nha Trang's leading Buddhist temple, ranked alongside Hai Duc Temple as one of the city's most important. A large white seated Buddha statue on the hill behind the pagoda is visible from around the city, and climbing the stairs up to it offers sweeping views over Nha Trang.

Yersin Museum

The Yersin Museum honors Alexandre Yersin, the French-Swiss bacteriologist who discovered the bubonic plague bacterium and settled in Nha Trang, where he spent decades on medical research and patient care. It displays the instruments, books, personal belongings, and photographs he actually used, making it less a flashy attraction than a quiet space for reflecting on one person's life and work.

Nha Trang Bay is a broad bay wrapping around the city, with a long sandy beach stretching right up to downtown and numerous islands scattered across the water. Locals and travelers alike stroll the beach or swim, while others take boats out to the islands for water sports and island tours.

Hòn Đỏ

Hon Do is a small island off the northern coast of Nha Trang, just offshore from the Hon Chon rock formations, named for its reddish rock and soil. Rather than a place you land on by boat, it's part of the view you take in while walking among the granite boulders of Hon Chon and looking out to sea.

Hòn Miễu

A small island off the coast of Nha Trang, popular on island tour routes for its aquarium and beach. It's a great spot to take a boat over and spend the day.
