Overview

Frogner Park is a public green space in Oslo's Frogner district, situated on the historic grounds of Frogner Manor. It features wide paved pathways, open lawns, and outdoor sculptures. Travellers visit to walk, picnic, and view open-air art in a central setting.

Getting There

From central Oslo, direct trams and local buses run regularly to the main gates. The transit ride takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes.

Time to Spend

Allow 1 to 2 hours to explore the main paths and sculpture displays. Budget half a day if you wish to walk the outer perimeter or relax on the grounds.

When to Visit

The grounds can be visited year-round. Summer brings full greenery, while spring and autumn offer cooler walking weather. Crowds peak on sunny weekend afternoons and in mid-summer. Visit during early mornings on weekdays to avoid larger groups.
