Kata Noi Beach
Located on the southwest coast of Phuket, Kata Noi is a natural sandy beach. It is smaller than the neighboring Kata Beach Kata and is bordered by resort properties, including Kata Thani and Mon Tri's Villa Royale. Travelers visit this location for swimming and coastal scenery in a setting that is generally less developed than the larger nearby hubs.
Getting There
The beach is accessible from Phuket Town via taxi, ride-sharing apps, or rented scooter. The journey typically takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Duration of Visit
A visit of 3 to 5 hours is usually sufficient to swim or relax on the sand. Those staying at the adjacent resorts may spend more time here.
When to Visit
The best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April when the sea is calmer. During the monsoon season, strong currents and red flags may restrict swimming. Early morning or late afternoon is recommended to avoid the midday heat. While quieter than the main Kata beach, it can still get crowded during peak tourist months.
