The site is located outside the center of Plzeň. Access is primarily via car or local transport heading toward the village of Ejpovice. The journey from the city center typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to explore the perimeter of the lake and walk along the cliffs. If you plan to swim, you may wish to stay longer.

The location is most frequented during the summer season for swimming. To avoid crowds, visit on weekdays rather than weekends. Early morning or late afternoon provides the most stable light for viewing the cliff colors.
