Et-Tell Archaeological Site

Et-Tell is an archaeological site located in the West Bank. It is identified by many scholars as the biblical city of Ai. Visitors go here to walk through the remains of ancient ruins and view the traces of early settlements.

Getting There

The site is located just outside the center of Ramallah. It is accessible via a short drive or taxi ride from the city center, typically taking about 10 to 15 minutes depending on local traffic conditions.

Most visitors spend between 1 and 2 hours exploring the ruins and walking the grounds of the site.

When to Visit

The site is an open-air archaeological area, so it is best visited during the cooler months of spring or autumn to avoid the midday heat. Visiting in the early morning is recommended for better temperatures. The site does not typically experience heavy crowds.
