St. George Church ruin
St. George Church Ruin
Located on a hill near Ramallah, this site contains the remains of a Byzantine-era church. The structure dates back to the 4th century and was later rebuilt during the Crusader period in the 12th century. Visitors go here to view the architectural layers of these two distinct eras and to see the mosaic fragments that remain on the floor.

The ruins are situated just outside the main urban area of Ramallah. Depending on your starting point in the city centre, the trip typically takes 10 to 20 minutes by car or taxi.
