• Walking: Ideal for the city center and administrative districts. Most government offices and cafes are concentrated in a walkable core, though steep inclines are common.
• Service Taxis (Shared Taxis): These are the primary mode for inter-city travel to Nablus or Bethlehem. They win on cost and frequency for fixed routes.
• Private Taxis: The most efficient choice for point-to-point travel within the city or to outskirts. They are readily available and preferred for those with luggage.

Passes and Tickets

There is no integrated public transport passes or tourist cards for Ramallah. Payments are made in cash per trip. This system suits short-term visitors but can be tedious for those making frequent short hops, as it requires carrying small denominations of currency.

From Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) to Ramallah

Since Ramallah does not have its own airport, visitors arrive via TLV. Options vary by effort and cost:
