What to Expect
The Macal River flows through the Cayo District in western Belize, passing San Ignacio before joining the Mopan River to form the Belize River. Getting There
From central San Ignacio, the riverbank is a 5- to 10-minute walk. Access points and boat launches are located near Hawkesworth Bridge.
