Parc1
Overview
Parc1 is a high-rise mixed-use complex in Yeouido, Seoul. Designed by British architect Richard Rogers, it features prominent red exterior steel trusses and includes a 333-meter tower that forms a distinct part of the city skyline. Travelers visit primarily to view modern high-tech architecture and access the shopping and commercial spaces inside.
Getting There
From central Seoul, take the subway to Yeouido Station via Line 5 or Line 9. The journey from central hubs such as Seoul Station takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes.
Time to Allow
Set aside 1 to 2 hours to walk around the exterior, observe the architecture, and walk through the complex.
When to Go
Weekdays are less crowded than weekends, when commercial areas experience heavy foot traffic. Visiting in late afternoon allows you to see the red exterior framing in daylight and illuminated after dark.
