Tapgol Park

Located in the Jongno district, this is Seoul's first public park. Formerly known as Pagoda Park, it is a historical site where visitors can walk through a downtown green space that reflects the city's early modern history.

The park is situated in the center of Seoul. From the city center, it is accessible via the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. Depending on your starting point within the central districts, travel time typically ranges from 10 to 20 minutes.

A visit to the grounds generally requires 45 to 90 minutes to walk the paths and view the historical structures.

The park is open to the public throughout the year. It can become crowded during weekends and public holidays due to its central location and status as a gathering place. Visiting during the early morning or on weekdays typically offers a quieter experience.
