What It Is
The Treska is a river in western North Macedonia that rises on Mount Stogovo and cuts through a narrow valley before meeting the Vardar River. Travellers visit the area primarily for outdoor recreation, including nature walks, light trekking along the valley terrain, and scenic drives through the surrounding landscape.
Getting There
The valley lies southwest of central Skopje. Reaching the river by car or taxi from the city centre generally takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the chosen access point and traffic conditions.
