The mountain is located near the town of Kaštela. From Split city centre, you can reach the base of the mountain by car or local bus. The drive typically takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Depending on the chosen trail and the hiker's pace, allow 3 to 6 hours to ascend to the peak and return.

When to Visit

The best seasons for hiking are spring and autumn when temperatures are moderate. Summer can be excessively hot on the exposed limestone slopes. Early morning starts are recommended to avoid midday heat. This location is generally less crowded than the city centre of Split.
