The Sky Taipei
The Sky Taipei is a skyscraper under construction in Taipei, Taiwan. Upon completion, it will be the third-tallest building in Taiwan and the second-tallest in Xinyi Special District and Taipei. The height of the building will be 280 m (920 ft) with a floor area of 87,464.32 m2 (941,458.1 sq ft), comprising 56 floors above ground as well as 5 basement levels.

The Sky Taipei is a skyscraper still under construction in the Xinyi district. There's no observation deck or public facility to visit yet — the interest for travellers right now is watching a major addition to Taipei's skyline take shape next to Taipei 101, rather than entering the building itself. Once complete it's planned to reach 280 metres with 56 floors above ground, which would make it one of the taller buildings in the city.
Getting there
The site sits in Xinyi, Taipei's business and shopping district, a short taxi or MRT ride from the city centre — typically 15-25 minutes depending on where you start, with Taipei City Hall or Taipei 101/World Trade Center stations on the MRT being the closest stops.
How long to allow
Since this is a construction site rather than a completed attraction, most visitors will only pass by briefly while exploring the rest of Xinyi. A few minutes is enough unless the building has opened to the public by the time you visit.
When to go
As there's no observation deck or ticketed access at this stage, timing mainly depends on the surrounding area. Xinyi's malls and streets around Taipei 101 get busy on weekend afternoons and evenings, so mornings or weekdays tend to be quieter for walking around the district.

The Xinyi district is dense with landmarks, so it's easy to see several in one outing:
