Built in 1984 and designed by architects Viktor Jorbenadze and Vazha Orbeladze, the building was constructed as a ceremonial wedding venue. It is known for its expressive, post-constructivist design that merges curved forms with cathedral-like features. Getting There

Located on the eastern side of the Mtkvari River, the site is reachable from central Tbilisi in roughly 10 to 15 minutes by taxi or rideshare. Walking from the historic center takes around 25 to 30 minutes uphill.

Plan to spend roughly 30 to 45 minutes here. This is adequate time to view the exterior from multiple vantage points and photograph the architecture.

When to Visit

Daylight hours are best to appreciate the exterior design and concrete detailing. Late afternoon offers favorable lighting for photography. Unlike central sights in Old Tbilisi, this location rarely experiences heavy tourist crowds.
