Malbun is an alpine village in the municipality of Triesenberg, Liechtenstein, situated 1,600 meters above sea level. Travelers visit primarily for mountain recreation, including summer hiking and winter sports. Its elevation offers cooler temperatures and direct access to alpine trails.

Getting There

From central Vaduz, local buses run to the village via Triesenberg, taking roughly 30 to 40 minutes. Driving by car takes around 20 minutes along mountain roads. For air travel, Zurich Airport (ZRH) is the main international gateway, with train and bus connections into Liechtenstein.

Time to Spend

Allow at least half a day for a short walk and sightseeing. Allocate a full day if undertaking longer mountain hikes or participating in winter sports.
