St. Elmo Bridge
This steel footbridge connects Fort St. Elmo in Valletta to the breakwater at the entrance of the Grand Harbour. Visitors use the bridge to access the breakwater and view the harbor and the surrounding fortifications from a vantage point over the water.
Getting There
The bridge is located at the tip of the Valletta peninsula. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short walk through the city streets toward the waterfront. Depending on your starting point in the centre, the walk typically takes 10 to 15 minutes.
