Overview

Slushko Palace is a 17th-century Baroque building situated on the left bank of the Neris River in the Antakalnis district of Vilnius. Travelers visit to observe its historic exterior architecture and its riverside position just northeast of the historic center.

Getting There

From Cathedral Square and central Vilnius, the site is roughly a 15-minute walk along the Neris river path. Alternatively, local public buses and trolleybuses heading toward Antakalnis reach the area in about 5 to 10 minutes.

Time to Allow

Allow 20 to 30 minutes for a visit. Because visitors primarily view the building exterior and walk along the riverfront, it works best as a short stop during a wider walking tour of the area.

When to Visit

Daylight hours are best for viewing the structural details and surrounding river views. Late spring through early autumn offers the most comfortable weather for exploring the riverside on foot. The location rarely experiences tourist crowds, making it accessible and quiet throughout the day.
