Wuhan Greenland Center
Overview
Wuhan Greenland Center is a 475.6-meter supertall skyscraper with 101 floors above ground, situated along the Yangtze River in the Wuchang district. Travellers go to observe the modern architecture up close, view one of the city's tallest structures, and take in the surrounding riverside skyline.
Getting There
From central commercial areas such as Hankou, the tower can be reached by metro or taxi via bridges or river tunnels. The journey from the city centre typically takes between 20 and 35 minutes depending on traffic.
Time to Spend
Plan to spend about 1 to 2 hours exploring the exterior plaza, taking photos from different vantage points, and walking along the adjacent riverfront promenade.
When to Visit
Late afternoon is recommended to see the building in daylight and stay for the evening illuminations. Visit on a clear day, as low clouds and smog can conceal the top floors. The area around the riverfront becomes crowded on weekend evenings and national holidays.
