Lovers' Park
About the Park
Lovers' Park is a landscaped public garden in central Yerevan that took its current form after a 2008 renovation. It features walking paths, water elements, and shaded seating. Travellers visit primarily for a quiet stroll or a restful break from city traffic.
Getting There
Located in central Yerevan, the grounds are roughly a 15- to 20-minute walk from Republic Square. Local public transit and taxis reach the entrance in under 10 minutes from the city centre.
Time to Allow
Plan to spend 30 to 45 minutes. The layout is compact, providing sufficient time to walk along the paths and sit down without requiring a large time commitment.
When to Visit
Mornings and late afternoons are the best times to visit during summer to avoid high midday temperatures. The area gets crowded during late afternoons, evenings, and weekends with local residents and families. Spring and autumn offer comfortable weather for spending time outside.
Nearby Attractions
A visit can be combined with several sights located within walking distance:
- Aram Khachaturian Museum (0.6km)
- Saint John the Baptist Church (0.7km)
- Aznavour Center (0.8km)
- Yerevan Opera Theater (1km)
